In view of the prevailing setback on the established Uttarey Singalila trek route, a new itinerary has been designed to allow visitors entry into the areas of the region that are still open to trekkers. On taking the trail from the western flanks of Dzongri, the path reaches out into the current permissible areas of the Singalila Ridge.

For most parts of the trek, the trails are well within Sikkim with an exception on the seventh day when camp is set in Garakhet (very near the Nepal border). This will also be the day for exceptional views. As such, your program includes several hours of forays into the borderline providing the opportunity for great views of the Himalayan giants in Nepal such as Mount Everest, Mount Makalu and Kumbakarna.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing: Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath temple and Patan durbar square with professional English speaking tour guide. 4/5 Hrs.
Day 03: Fly to Bhadrapur then transfer to Border and drive to Darjeeling (2134 m.) then transfer to Hotel.
Day 04: Darjeeling – Rimbik (2286 m.) 76 kms. Drive from Darjeeling to Rimbik 3 hrs
Day 05: Rimbik-Raman (2560m.) 25 kms. 9 hours
Day 06: Raman – Gorkey. Trek from Raman to Gorkhey takes 4 hours
Day 07: Gorkhey – Phalut (3600m.) 2hrs.
Day 08: Phalut – Sandakphu (3636m.) 10 hrs.
Day 09: Sandakphu - Gairibas (2621m.) 5 hrs.
Day 10: Gairibas – Tonglu (3070m.) 4hrs
Day 11: Tinglu – Mane Bhanjyang (2313m.) 5 hrs.
Day 12: Mane Bhanjyang – Darjeeling then transfer to Hotel.
Day 13: Drive Darjeeling–Bhadrapur and fly back Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 14: Kathmandu free.
Day 15: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey.

Tours and Camping Trek Cost Includes:

All land transportation by Car, Van, Jeep, Hiace and Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
One full day 4/5 hours sightseeing with professional English speaking tour guide and temple entry fees. (As Per the trekking itineraries)
4 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and 2 nights at Darjeeling at Bed & Breakfast basis.
All three major meals B/L/D (provide continental food)and accommodation in tented camp (twin sharing North Face tent or, normal trekking tent, dining tent, toilet tent, Kitchen tent, staff tent, Table, chairs and Kitchen utensil etc.).
1 Professional equipped English speaking trekking guide, 1 special trekking Cook, Kitchen boys, necessary Sherpa and Porters.
