The Singalila trek as popularly known enables one to discover the passion of the Himalayan region some of which is unmarred by human. In view of the prevailing setback on the established Singalila trekking route, a new itinerary has been designed to allow visitors entry into the areas of the region that are still open to trekkers. On taking the trail from the western flanks of Dzongri, the path reaches out into the current permissible areas of the Singalila Ridge.

For most parts of the trek, the trails are well within Sikkim with an exception on the seventh day when camp is set in Garakhet (very near the Nepal border). This will also be the day for exceptional views. As such, your program includes several hours of forays into the borderline providing the opportunity for great views of the Himalayan giants in Nepal such as Mount Everest, Mount Makalu and Kumbakarna.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1350m.), meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing: Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath temple and Patan durbar square with professional English speaking tour guide. 4/5 hrs.
Day 03: Fly to Bhadrapur then drives to Darjeeling and transfer to Hotel.
Day 04: Full day sightseeing in Darjeeling.
Day 05: Darjeeling–Mane Bhanjyang – Tonglu and Jaubari. Drive from Darjeeling to Manaybhanjyang, trek to Tonglu, further to Jaubari on the same day. 8 hours.
Day 06: Jaubari – Sandakphu. Trek from Jaubari to Sandakphu takes. 7 hours
Day 07: Sandakphu – Molley. Trek from Sandakphu to Molley takes. 7 hours.
Day 08: Molley – Gorkey via Phalut. Trek from Molley to Phalut takes takes 6 hours, it is recommended to start the trek early morningto see sunrise and get the view of all the ranges of Kanchenjunga. Gorkhey is the border of west Bengal and Sikkim best for village walk in and around Gorkhey.
Day 09: Phalut – Sirikhola.
Day 10: Sirikhola – Rimbik – Darjeeling. Trek and tours takes about 5 hours.
Day 11: Drive Darjeeling – Bhadrapur flight to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 12: Kathmandu free.
Day 13: Kathmandu free or shopping.
Day 14: Last minute, transfer to Airport for your onward journey.

Camping Trek Cost Includes:

All land transportation by Car, Van, Jeep, Hiace and Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, trekking pick up and drop).
Full day 4/5 hours sightseeing with professional English speaking tour guide and temple entry fees. (As Per the itineraries in Kathmandu and Darjeeling)
5 Night’s hotel accommodation in Kathmandu, one night at Gantok (Sikkim) and one night at Darjeeling at Bed & Breakfast basis.
All three major meals B/L/D (provide continental food)and accommodation in tented camp (twin sharing North Face tent or, normal trekking tent, dining tent, toilet tent, Kitchen tent, staff tent, Table, chairs and Kitchen utensil etc.).
1 Professional equipped English speaking trekking guide, 1 special trekking Cook, Kitchen boys, necessary Sherpa and Porters.
Life insurance for all support crews and their daily wages.
