We went to Kathmandu and Nagarkot in June 2013, our friend Kumar Karki lost one afternoon waiting for us in the airport because Air India cancelled our fligth to KTM and for us was impossible notify this to him. However the next day he was waiting again in the airport for us. Now in KTM all was rigth, his hospitality and help was the most important thing for us, so we only need to think in enjoyed, learned and live all the Nepal Culture. He understand all our wishes and before the travel answered all the questions we need to do this trip just like we wanted. We have the best memories of this country and his people because of him, and the best souvenir for us is his friendship. Thanks a lot our friend. Best regards from Colombia !
My husband and I and our teenage children recently returned from a very interesting trip to Nepal. It was our first time in Nepal so we chose to use a company to help with our travel and trekking arrangements. On a reliable recommendation we with went with the smaller local company Cultural Treks and from my first communication with Kumar Karki on facebook I knew we were in excellent hands! Kumar tailored the trip to suit our needs and made recommendations when I needed the help. We ended up getting everything we wanted from fascinating cultural experiences to hiking and rafting and most importantly meeting the locals and getting to know and love the Nepalese people. Kumar helped us with everything from buying our down jackets to suggesting great restaurants and also changing our itinerary when we needed a bit of flexibility for extra adventures. Kumar treated us more like friends visiting his country rather than tourists. We were even lucky enough to meet and enjoy time with his friends and family. I felt we had found a guide to everything we needed to know to be safe and to understand and enjoy Nepal and to get the most out of our trip. Kumar, his employees who took us on tours, the trekking guide Sandra and his porters were all amazing people who made our trip the holiday I was hoping it would be. Thank you Kumar.
Namaste! I would like to highly recommend Cultural Treks & Expedition to anyone who wants to book a trek or peak climb and be assured of fantastic service. I was in 2012 spring expedition to Cho Oyu and Cultural Treks & Expedition organized everything very well. I have no complaints only great praise. After receiving a reply to my original enquiry quicker than any other company, I felt I could trust Mr. Kumar Karki (the owner) and I wasn't disappointed. One of the reasons I booked with Cultural Treks & Expedition is that Kumar promises one sherpa to one climber, and this allows greater flexibility and safety. I‘m so thankful to my sherpa Phursemba Sherpa (Purtemba)!!! I had some problems after summiting and practically he saved my life. Mr. Kumar was very helpful with all questions and problems I had later on in Kathmandu. The staff was also very helpful and professional. We had a great cook in our Base Camp, who was highly interested that we didn´t get any stomach disease and that we didn´t lose our appetite by cooking very diverse dishes. Congratulations and many thanks for giving me such a great experience. Its difficult to know which company to go with when there are so many advertising their services, I took the decision of booking with Kumar and made the right choice. He works hard and is very committed to making everyone’s holiday the best. Thank you Cultural Treks & Expedition and dear Kumar for organising the best service for me so that I could realize my dream of summiting an 8000m peak. Thank you once more, dear Kumar.
I have spent a three-week holiday in Nepal comprising a one-week city tour in Kathmandu valley and a two-week trek in Sagarmatha National Park. Glad I have chosen Cultural Treks & Expedition by chance. Apart from their professionalism in trip organization, the hospitality of managing director Kumar Bahadur Karki and trekking guide KB Tamang have made me feel highly secure and relaxed throughout the whole journey, as if I’re not alone but with some fine friends in a foreign country. Coupled with so many natural sceneries and cultural and artistic heritages, Nepal is undoubtedly worth visiting. Really hope my second trip to Nepal can be realized in the near future.
Namaste dear friends, First i would like to thank Mr. Kumar from travel agency Cultural Treks and Expedition for his professionalism and hospitality. I spent three unforgettable weeks in Nepal. During my stay I always felt very safe and familiar. I would also like to thank family from Kumar for the warm welcome. Gratitude goes also to my guide Chandra and porter, who accompanied me on a 10-day trek to Annapurna Base Camp & Chitwan Jungle safari. Nepal is beautiful country with magnificent mountains in the world, with a rich cultural heritage, religion and untouched nature. The local people are very friendly, hospitable and always smiling. Once you visit this country you only want to return as soon as possible. Therefore, dear friends in Nepal see you soon again! DHANYABAAD AND PHERI BHETAULA!
