Mount Kang Guru Expedition, a fascinating mountain which lies in the western part of Nepal and it is also located between the massifs of Annapurna and Manaslu. Mount Kang Guru Expedition has recently been allowed for mountain climbers. Considered as one of the difficult and challenging peaks, the ridges of Mt. Kang Guru are steep and very sharp. So as the first ascent of Mt. Kang Guru Expedition made by Japanese expedition team. Apart from the adventure trip to Kang Guru Expedition, we will also have an opportunity to explore the less beaten and remote region of Nepal. We will also trek through many cultural and traditional villages, and along the world’s deepest gorge - Kali Gandaki Valley. Past climbing knowledge, great physical condition and a high level of responsibility are pivotal for the effective try of Mt. Kang Guru.
Researcher and climbing expeditions permitted to climb Kang Guru 6,981m., Mt. Himlung, Mt. Ratna Chuli and Mt. Gyajing Kang, few foreigners have visited the area and tourism infrastructure is almost non-existent. Since Annapurna Conservation Area Project recently extended its network to include Nar and Phu Valley.
